Since 1977, as a USA Ridgeway Clock Factory Authorized Service Center, we have been repairing, rebuilding, and restoring Ridgeway grandfather, mantle, and wall clocks. When you choose Ridgeway Clock Repair Service to handle your Ridgeway Clock repair needs, you have the assurance that our team of professional horologists will treat your treasured clock with the utmost care. We are a family owned business and we take extra care to restore your clock with authentic Ridgeway parts as much as possible. On rare occasions, when we cannot obtain an original part, we will make a part to the exact original factory specifications.
If you are located within one of our service areas, we can schedule an appointment to work on your Ridgeway grandfather clock in your home or office. If you are outside of our service areas, you can ship your Ridgeway wall, mantle, or grandfather clock movement to us for repair. Do not ship weights or pendulums as we do not need them for the repair and they will only add shipping costs and risk. When we receive your Ridgeway clock, it will be catalogued for inspection. Inspections are completed by one of our expert clockmaker/horologists within two weeks of receipt of the clock. Once inspected and the necessary repairs identified, you will be contacted with an exact quote for the work.
We ask that you inform us within 14 days whether or not to authorize the work to proceed. If you authorize the work to be done, we will require a modest deposit on a credit card before the work is commenced. Once authorized, the work on your clock will be completed within 4 weeks; at which time the balance due will be charged to your card and the clock will be return shipped to you. Generally, the work to be completed on the movement involves the complete disassembly of the movement, cleaning, rebushing, pivot polishing, new mainsprings, reassembly and testing. Case cleaning and restoration services are also available.
We will guarantee our craftsmanship and repair labor services for two full years against default and malfunction. While we are independent of the Ridgeway Clock Company, parts obtained from the Ridgeway Clock Company are not warranted by Ridgeway Clock or Ridgeway Clock Repair Services. We cannot be responsible for damages done to the movement by owner installation. We will provide you with complete installation instructions.
Your Ridgeway clock should be professionally packed for shipment with bubble wrap and double boxed. We recommend using services such as The UPS Store for packing.
